Java Developer
DOCFOCUS is currently hiring the position of Java Developer for their Edmonton office.
Duties for this position
Java Developers are in charge of design, prototype, development, implement and testing of applications. This position is required to provide a high level application support for our Call Support Analyst. The Java Developer will create documentation, procedure development, product enhances as well as perform application bug fixes when required.
Skills Required
The Java Developer position is ideal for candidates that are organized and are able to multitask well. This position requires individuals with strong communication, written and verbal skills, as this position deals directly with clients via support calls. DOCFOCUS is looking for candidates that are self-motivated individuals and possess great problem solving skills.
Qualifications
- Candidates applying for this position are required to have a Diploma or Certificate in a computer systems related field. Applicants that possess equivalent practical experience in a support background will also be considered for this position.
- Candidates should have experience with Java tools sets, Java/J2EE programming, NetBeans or JBoss IDE, SQL Server, Postgress SQL within a Windows environment, Visual Basic and C Sharpe.
- Applicants that hold or are currently working towards an I.S.P Certification will also be considered for this position.
